ENUM Trial Mexico is a jointly project of NIC Mexico and Tecnológico de Monterrey Campus Monterrey.

The ENUM Trial Mexico principal objective is to allow its members to experiment and familiarize with the ENUM technology and also to analyze the operational and technical issues of the ENUM supply for the country area code +52.

ENUM is a protocol developed by the Working Group "Telephone Number Mapping" of the IETF (The Internet Engineering Task Force).

ENUM allows the convergence among the Networks based on IP (Internet Protocol) and the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) and also the interconnection of isolated VoIP Networks.
ENUM Trial Mexico is open to end users, ISP's, Carriers, and anyone interested in the ENUM and VoIP technology.
